This drawing is depicting a female child who is experiencing the emotional trauma of divorce. Notice the line quality(Heavy) and how the line is used to convey separation. Also how the child scribbled over the entire drawing which indicates the child attempting to make the situation invisible.

This was a "trick" picture. As we have learned throughout our readings, it is best practice to always employ a variety of assessments to help avoid making a quick diagnosis based on one assessment tool. This child is suffering from headaches.

This child's drawing is revealing a household in which there is physical violence, notice the size of the father's arm. It is hard to tell on this example, but the artist placed the 2 children at the edge of the paper which could indicate a highly defensive child who is seeking structure;dependency. Also look at the arm extension of the father-this indicates the need for that individual to control the environment.
